Wendy Alas is a freelance photographer and photo-editor, specializing in fashion inspired portraiture, story telling wedding photography, photojournalism and miscellaneous events. She is a Brooks Institute of Photography graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Journalism. Wendy has been part of documentary projects in Las Vegas, California, and Perú. Her true passion is to travel around the world collecting captivating story telling images that have a positive impact on society.

Wendy lives in Chicago, IL and works for several commercial photography studios around the city as an assistant, photo-editor and staff photographer. She's also volunteered her services for non-profit organizations.
