Wendy Alas is a documentary photographer with a passion to discover and document life around the globe to raise awareness about social and environmental issues worldwide.
Wendy is also a Brooks Institute of Photography graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Visual Journalism. Wendy has been part of documentary projects in Las Vegas, California, and Perú. Her life goals is to travel to every country, learn its culture, capture life and share it with the world.
She is currently focusing in making 52 self-portraits a year. documenting her personality in each and every weekly image. Recently Wendy traveled back to Guatemala with three of her friends, Stephanie Bassos, Gina Cella and Kelly Jung on a photo escapade. Stay tuned for the upcoming images of this refreshing trip.
